Taming The Shrew…

A combined RNLI and Coastguard shout, together with a very wet opening night did nothing to daunt the Cast, Crew and Audience for The Inn Theatre Company’s 12th Shakespeare week production of “The Taming of the Shrew”.

Congratulations to all, not the least to those hardy souls who came prepared and supported the company with their Laughter and applause.

Lear Tech – 4th August

Dartmouth Shakespeare week turns us into fanatical weather watchers. Running a week long production at  the mouth of the River Dart has it’s downsides when the weather is poor. The position is quite exposed.

Sunday’s Tech setup and rehearsal must have been a very wet affair. I spent a guilty evening tweaking photographic work-flow. Hey ho, the wind and the rain.

The met forecast for the dress rehearsal looks more accommodating and the rest of the week looks like being kind to us. For clarity – the photo below was taken on July 2nd, a rained off photo shoot and rehearsal.
